Close stop water taxi at Grandcanal, historical old building in narrow streets / but probably no everyone appreciate it /, excelent room at third floor with balcony and view on the roofs. Hotel didnt provide breakfast, but we bought it close hotel in confectionery together with another italians.
We booked two triple rooms, but second had windows directly against wall and wasnt as good as first. But it is possible use common balcony at third floor.

The personnel was genuinely helpful and very helpful, they assisted with baggage. My room was beautifully decorated and included coffee, a kettle, and a storage. Liked absolutely fantastic breakfast and had a very good stay overall in accommodation with character.

Newly furnished rooms with extremely comfy beds
Amiable staff. Perfect setting right by the train station and the Guglie water bus stop. Convenient location for exploring Venice and off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I believe they do the best with what they have to work with.
The facility had challenging steps to climb that I was not aware of-no elevator. We were travelling with a person who had some physical limitations so this was difficult for him. (We are so gratefull to the gentleman-hotel clerk who carried all our bags for us!) The windows had no screens so we had mosquitos in our room-and several bites. There was no air conditioning and it was quite warm at night and then you have to contend with the noise. It was not a relaxing stay-just a means to an end while in Venice. I also felt the beds were hard as were the pillows. Breakfast was not included. Every other hotel we stayed in offered a nice Italian style breakfast. They had a nice courtyard area to serve. If not perhaps a voucher for local patisseri

Stunningly beautiful hotel, clean, very amiable staff, location to pretty much everything was easy. The room was beautifully decorated and brand-new, had comfortable and included coffee/tea making facilities and a fridge. The staff provided excellent service and assisted with luggage.
Facilities were particularly good, though Wi-Fi was bad.

The main room was nice, and once found, it was in a nice location.
The bathroom was very unfriendly: severe step hazard; the shower head was ready to fall off and the shower base was hazardous. Also, there was a sitting area to the hotel that was locked during the morning, preventing our enjoyment of it.

The rooms here are really chic and spacious, and the breakfast served on a tray was fantastic. Plus, the location is absolutely amazing - just a short walk from Leonardo. 🌟

We loved everything! Maria at the front desk was amazing and so lovely- she spoke fluent English and gave us a map with great tips about where to go and what to see. They were very accommodating when we arrived early, gave us coffee and even a little Murano glass gift. The room was really nice and quite spatious and comfortable. The bathroom was nice too. The location was perfect and we couldn't ask for more. Al Portico is situated close enough from the train station to walk easily and also in a great busy area. Outside our door was a canal, shops and bustling streets to wander. We loved this place and would definitely come back again. Great value for money.

The hotel placement was very good. The staff was helpfull with informations regarding the city. Rooms are kept clean.
The hotel is extremely noisy. Our room was separated from the next one by a door( which was closed) but we could hear very well people talking normally from the next rooms and above. Walking in the room causes the furniture to shake which also makes noise. The hotel management has changed and so no breakfast or kitchen facilities are available( there were some customer comments indicating that these were available). The room is much more smaller than in the pictures shown on Booked.net and it seems to look worse than on the pictures.
